1.Ezra cut out 8/9 of a cake.This portion of the cake was shared equally among his 3 friends. What fraction of the cake did each friend get?
2.Simon bought 4/7 kg of minced meat into 10 equal portions. What was total mass of 3 portions of meat?
3.Yeni bought 1 2/3kg of green peas .She put into 15 bags and gave her mother 4 bags. How many kg of green peas did her mother receive?

Answer:
1. 8/9:3 = 3 x 9/8
             = 3 x  9 /8
             =1 x 3/8
             = 3/8
so, the fraction which ezra friend gets is 3/8
